This photo labelled "David Hamilton" is with our Baker family collection. I haven't yet found any record of David Hamilton's connecton to our ancestors but the Hamilton name crops up in Baker descendants e.g. May Hamilton Baker and her daughter Jean so this could be relevant.
This photo was probably taken in the 1880s or 1890s.
On the back of the photo are the words "Mum's Grandmother Grannie Vine". We don't have any ancestors named Vine but Jane Ireland, the sister of our ancestor Mary Ann Ireland, married Alfred Loutet Vine.
One researcher has identified the photo as
"Grannie Vine is Anne Vine nee Loutet, the wife of Alfred, Surveyor."
The photos were probably taken in the 1880s or 1890s.
This photo might be Jane Vine (nee Ireland) (1841-1905)
Jane Vine (nee Ireland) (1841-1905) was our great grandmother's aunt and the photos belonged to our grandmother.
Although this photo is labelled "Auntie Jane, Mum's Aunt" it doesn't look exactly like the same lady labelled "Janeie Mum's Aunt".
This photo was probably taken in the late 1880s or 1890s.
I think this photo is associated with the Winduss family but can't identify anyone for sure.
Possibly Albert Gleadow Winduss is standing at the left second row. From other family photos George Charles Winduss looks a little like the gentleman sitting behind the dog wearing a hat.
This photo was probably taken in the 1890s or early 1900s.
